Rams-Seahawks rivalry takes surprising turn in projected 2026 schedule

The NFL schedule is set to release on Thursday, and there is a ton of excitement and anticipation for how things will play out.

While the full schedule has not been released yet, there have been a ton of leaks on social media.

One of the many leaks released hours before the official schedule release is the anticipated matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and the defending champions, the Seattle Seahawks

The two division rivals met three times last season, including the epic NFC Championship game. As the 2026 season approaches, Seattle and Los Angeles are projected to meet twice in the last three weeks of the season.

Interesting schedule note: The #Seahawks and #Rams — who played three times last season, including a thrilling NFC Championship Game — won’t face each other this season until Week 16.

NFC West could come down to Rams vs Seahawks

If the leaks are true, the NFC West division could come down to Weeks 16 and 18.

Last season, the Rams and Seahawks met twice for their annual division meetings, once in mid November and the other in mid December.

The Rams and Seahawks have established themselves as two of the best teams in football. Seattle proved that last season throughout their stellar 2025 campaign and Super Bowl title.

As for the Rams, they enter the season with arguably the deepest team in the league and have hopes for a Lombardi in 2026.

All eyes will be on these two teams as the Seahawks look to get back to where they were, while the Rams aim to be the last team standing when the season comes to an end.
