The Los Angeles Rams have been given new life this offseason with the news that Matthew Stafford is coming back for one more season. They're ready to go all-in and have done so through the early part of the offseason.
There are two major moves the Rams made to address their biggest need at cornerback. They signed former Kansas City Chiefs CB Jaylen Watson for the next three years, and traded a first, third, fifth, and sixth-round picks to the Chiefs for Trent McDuffie.
But, even after spending so much on both ex-Chiefs corners, the Rams need more help at the position. Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport linked the Rams to a free agent CB that, fittingly, is also a former Chiefs two-time Super Bowl champion like Watson and McDuffie.
Rams linked to another ex-Chiefs CB to revamp defense
"CB L'Jarius Sneed. Best Fit: Los Angeles Rams," Davenport writes. "Adding Sneed to the Rams' remodeled CB corps would turn the team's biggest weakness in 2025 into a strength."
L'Jarius Sneed is coming off a rough stint with the Tennessee Titans over the last two years, where he played a total of 12 games in two seasons. Compared to his Chiefs days, Sneed's time in Tennessee was a major letdown.
He had 10 interceptions in four years with the Chiefs, and zero in two years with the Titans. Sneed was also far-better in coverage in Kansas City than he was in Tennessee.
He allowed a passer rating of 107.7 in his time with the Titans, while he allowed a 73.3 passer rating when with the Chiefs.

Sneed was a key member of the Chiefs' secondary during their 2022 and 2023 Super Bowl runs. But now, following two rough years with the Titans, the 29-year-old cornerback needs a major bounce-back season in 2026.
With Sneed in need of turning his career around, why not reunite with two cornerbacks with whom he had some of his best seasons with the Rams?
Los Angeles could use another cornerback to round out a completely overhauled cornerback room after a rough 2025 season from the corners.
This fit makes a lot of sense, especially since Sneed will likely be fairly cheap considering how poorly he played in 2025 and the recent injury concerns.
