The Los Angeles Rams are going all-in for the 2026 NFL season in what might be the last year of Matthew Stafford's Hall of Fame career.

To make the most of that final year, the Rams are trying to make their roster as good as possible. To do so, the Rams might use the No. 13 pick on a player who will help them right now, as opposed to preparing for the future.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Rams reportedly "love" a wide receiver prospect who had 1,156 yards last year. That player is USC's Makai Lemon.

Rams 'love' USC WR Makai Lemon

"Lemon going to the Rams has been a heavy link for a while," Fowler reports. "'They love him,' a source said."

The Rams showing such interest in Lemon is not a surprise, as he's been strongly linked to the Rams often this offseason, leading up to the draft.

In the same article as this NFL Draft buzz on the Rams' interest in Lemon, Matt Miller predicts the Rams to draft the Trojan WR at No. 13 overall.

Lemon caught 79 passes for 1,156 yards and 11 touchdowns last year for the Trojans, and would be a great pickup for this Rams offense.

There has been some buzz about the Rams trying to trade up in the NFL Draft inside the top-10, most likely for someone like Jordyn Tyson, Carnell Tate, or a top defensive player like Sonny Styles or Caleb Downs.

But if the Rams stick and pick at No. 13 overall, Lemon might be more than just the easy pick; he'd be a home run for the Rams.

Lemon is someone the Rams reportedly "love," and it's not a surprise considering how the USC wide receiver has garnered plenty of Amon-Ra St. Brown comparisons this offseason.

He'd be a great pickup for the Rams offense and would give Stafford another great target for the 2026 season, while also accounting for the looming free agent status of Davante Adams and Puka Nacua.
