The Los Angeles Rams have plenty of reasons to feel darn good heading into this season. After coming up just short of another championship run, this team has built a roster that should have fans believing another Super Bowl push is very possible.
It starts at quarterback. Matthew Stafford, of course, is the reigning MVP. The Rams also have a potential future option in Ty Simpson, giving the organization some long-term stability at the position.
Beyond quarterback, the roster is loaded with talent across the board. The addition of defensive end Myles Garrett only raises the ceiling even higher, giving the Rams another game-changing presence on a defense that was already dangerous.
Bleacher Report has released a tally of the 1,000 best players in the NFL going into the new season. Yes, 1,000 is a lot, but it also makes for a fun read.

So, where did Garrett land? He's No. 1. That's out of 1,000 players. Wow. Just, wow.
In the piece, Bleacher Report notes that Garrett "still needs 75 sacks to supplant Bruce Smith on the all-time list," but his "ability to win in a multitude of ways (speed, power, line games, etc.) and from several alignments should help him eventually reach that historic milestone."
They add that "the two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year also offers tremendous value as a run defender, collecting 10 tackles for loss on top of last season's 23 sacks. He has plenty of strength to set the edge and can win with finesse/athleticism or working around blocks to be a complete, elite all-around defensive end."
Seeing Garrett fall into place with the Rams is going to be one of the most exciting storylines in the entire NFL this season.
