The Los Angeles Rams have had upgraded their offense this offseason, adding Davante Adams to their receiving corps. However , their defensive holes still remain after free agency and the NFL Draft. Their front seven is very good and comprised of young talent, but their secondary needs several upgrades - enter Jalen Ramsey.
The former Ram and current Miami Dolphins cornerback is on the trade block, and there is reported interest from the Rams in bringing the star cornerback back to Los Angeles. Sean McVay opened up about the potential reunion on Sirius XM.
"There's not much of an update," McVay said. "He is a total stud. And you look at, obviously, he has continued to play at a really high level. he and I have kept in great touch even since we ended up trading him to Miami. [He's a] special competitor, great person, great father."
The Rams would greatly benefit from bringing back Ramsey, who is still playing at a Pro Bowl level. Plugging him back into the Rams' defense would both give them a new star, and he would also give them more depth by pushing everyone down a peg on the totem pole.
