The Los Angeles Rams rocked the football world on Monday when they traded for All-Pro defensive end Myles Garrett.
The Rams were already the favorites to win the Super Bowl this upcoming season, and now they are the overwhelming favorites by a long shot. With the Super Bowl being in Los Angeles again (like in 2021 when the Rams last won it), the Rams are hoping to be the last team standing.
They've put themselves in a great position to do just that, and possibly more. It's clear that the Rams are on a mission to bring another title to Los Angeles, but some believe the team's ceiling may be even higher than that.
Former All-Pro offensive tackle Terron Armstead said barring health, the 2026 Rams have a legitimate chance to go undefeated following the addition of Myles Garrett.
"The Rams just got the piece that makes them go undefeated," Armstead said. "Health is the only concern, the durability of these guys. If this roster is healthy, I see no reason why they don't go undefeated and challenge the 1972 Miami Dolphins as being the only team to do so."

The Rams have a stacked roster, especially on their offensive and defensive sides of the ball. On offense, the Rams are led by their MVP Matthew Stafford, alongside pass catchers Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, running back Kyren Williams, a solid offensive line and not one but four tight ends.
As for the defensive end, Los Angeles improved their secondary like no other. They added All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson to the secondary. On top of that, they have a good safety core in Kam Curl, Kamren Kinchens and Quentin Lake.
As for the pass rush, the Rams have a great core even without Garrett, with Byron Young, Kobie Turner and Braden Fiske leading the way.
Last but not least, Los Angeles boasts arguably the best head coach in the league in Sean McVay. McVay will enter his 10th season at the helm and seek his second Super Bowl title to add to his stellar resume.
One thing is for sure: the last thing the Rams will be considered with is going undefeated this season.
