The Las Vegas Raiders seem to have a new head coach.
Once the Seattle Seahawks finish playing the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots, the Raiders are expected to hire Seattle offensive coordinator as their new head coach. Due to NFL rules, the deal can't be official until the Seahawks' season ends and Kubiak becomes available to hire.
Kubiak was a finalist for both the Raiders and Arizona Cardinals head coaching jobs, interviewing for both positions in between championship weekend and the Super Bowl. In the end, Kubiak will head to Las Vegas instead of remaining in division with Arizona.
Kubiak is the eldest son of former Super Bowl-winning head coach Gary Kubiak, but has worked for many teams in his career. Kubiak's work with the Seahawks put him at the forefront of the coaching cycle this season.
Here's why Kubiak chose to join the Raiders.
