Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby has gone through a whirlwind of emotions over the past week.
He thought his time with the Raiders was over, and he made peace with the fact that he was traded to the Baltimore Ravens. He said goodbye to Raider Nation and was excited to begin his career as a Raven.
Until Baltimore walked back on the trade, citing his failed physical as the reason.
Not many are "buying" the Ravens' reasoning for walking back on the trade, as they surely knew Maxx wasn't going to pass his physical, given where he is in his stage of recovery from knee surgery.
But he's not getting into the theories out there about what went down.
"This is the thing; everyone's got their own theory -- conspiracy theory -- no one really will ever admit, either side, what the real truth is or whatever," Crosby said on his podcast The Rush via NFL.com. "Ultimately, it doesn't even matter. I am where I'm supposed to be. I know that."

Crosby ready to put failed trade behind him
It can be a tough thing to get past, given how close Maxx was to becoming a Raven, but now he's a Raider, and it appears that he is fully focused on staying as such.
It will always be in the back of his mind, as to be so close to switching teams, to then have it come crashing down, Maxx's emotions would have been all over the place.
Now, he has to put it all behind him and focus on his knee recovery as a Raider. Of course, easier said than done, but Crosby appears hell-bent on making sure that what has transpired doesn't impact him moving forward.
Even if everyone would forgive him for letting it.
