As we await the release of the "Madden" movie, which doesn't have an exact date yet, a photo of actors Christian Bale and Nicolas Cage playing their roles of former Raiders owner Al Davis and head coach John Madden, respectively, has been revealed.

The two Oscar-winning actors will portray the Raiders legends in the biopic, which tells the story of Madden's time with the Raiders and Davis, where he won a Super Bowl, as well as the history of the creation of the wildly popular "Madden NFL" video games.

"The film follows Madden’s remarkable journey — from his Super Bowl-winning partnership with Al Davis and the Raiders, to creating Madden NFL, and becoming one of the most iconic voices in football history," Amazon MGM Studios said of the film in a statement.

This week, we got our first look at Bale and Cage in their roles. The photo features the pair flashing their Super Bowl rings while standing inside of a stadium.

Madden, who passed away at the age of 85 in 2021, was drafted into the NFL but never got a chance to play thanks to an injury. Madden went on to coach the Raiders for 10 seasons and won a Super Bowl in 1976.

He then became arguably the most iconic broadcaster in sports history, and later became the face of the video game series that is still a juggernaut to this day. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

After his coaching career, Davis served as part owner and general manager of the Raiders from 1966-71, and then became principal owner and continued to serve as general manager from 1972 until his death in 2011. Davis won three Super Bowls and a pair of NFL Executive of the Year awards.
