The Las Vegas Raiders, Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts reportedly have interest in a San Francisco 49ers free agent.
According to Easton Butler of Packer Report, that 49ers free agent is wide receiver Jauan Jennings.
"With the Dolphins trading away Jaylen Waddle, expect them to target WR Jauan Jennings... Alongside the Raiders, Titans, and Colts," Butler reported.
Jennings is the best wide receiver left on the open market and is not expected to return to the Niners.
It is at least a bit surprising Jennings has yet to find a new home. That likely means Jennings simply hasn't had the market he expected, which could also mean he'll come at a reasonable price.
Jennings is coming off a season in which he battled through multiple injuries and finished with 643 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. His best season came in 2024, when he posted a career-high 975 receiving yards.
It's not hard to see why the aforementioned teams have interest in Jennings.
The Dolphins' cupboard at wide receiver is completely bare. The group was already in rough shape before Miami shipped off Jaylen Waddle in a blockbuster trade with the Denver Broncos.
In Las Vegas, the Raiders have only added Jalen Nailor, who is unproven. He joins a room that includes fellow unproven receivers Jach Bech and Dont'e Thornton and veteran Tre Tucker, who is a No. 3, at best. That is just not good enough for a team bringing in a new franchise quarterback in Fernando Mendoza.
The Titans have a solid trio at the position with Wan'Dale Robinson, Calvin Ridley and Elic Ayomanor, but there is no such thing as having too much help for quarterback Cam Ward.
The Colts, meanwhile, have a huge void to fill after trading Michael Pittman Jr. to the Pittsburgh Steelers and could use more help for Alec Pierce and Josh Downs.
We would peg the Raiders and Dolphins as the most likely landing spots considering their need at wide receiver is the most dire of these teams.
Jennings would instantly step into a No. 1 wide receiver role with either team and that would likely be a very attractive opportunity to him.
