While NFL players may be all about their business on the field, many of them have a goofy side once the business is done, especially when cameras are around. Quincy Williams and Quinnen Williams, brothers who have both played for the New York Jets since 2021, were asked to take a picture together for the Jets media day on Monday, and they ended up recreating a picture from the popular movie Step Brothers, in which Will Ferrell stands with his hands clasped on the shoulder of John C. Reilly.

— New York Jets (@nyjets) June 9, 2025Clearly, the Williams brothers are having a good time this offseason, and they should be. There’s a lot of positive vibes around the new-look New York Jets, from the hiring of former Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn to signing the electric Justin Fields as QB1, fans and analysts around the country expect the Jets to take a significant step forward in the 2025 season.
But if the Jets are going to take that step forward, it will have to be on the back of the defense led by Quincy and Quinnen Williams. While the offense should be much improved since 2024, its upside is still capped by Fields. Despite the praise from his teammates and coaches, he hasn’t yet shown that he can be a franchise quarterback in the NFL. He could still prove otherwise, but until he does, expect the Jets defense to carry the lion’s share of the pressure in 2025.
They certainly have the talent to do so. Aside from the Williams brothers, the Jets also have arguably the best cornerback in the league in Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner. The Jets may struggle to score at times this year, but opponents will likely struggle far more.
