According to Korean media outlet Slist, the partnership is designed to promote TIRTIR’s message of “my own beauty” on a global scale. A representative from the brand stated that Taehyung’s appearance aligns well with TIRTIR’s values of individuality and diversity. The representative says,
"V's expressiveness and sense are in good contact with the direction of 'personality and diversity' pursued by TIRTIR, and I expect that the brand will be able to be more deeply connected with consumers around the world through his influence."The official announcement came shortly after a teaser released on October 28. The teaser featured a shadowed figure holding TIRTIR’s signature Mask Fit Red Cushion, sparking speculation among fans.
In addition, on October 29, Japanese skincare label YUNTH revealed Taehyung as its first global ambassador, marking the brand’s first collaboration of this scale.
