The European crown comes down to one 90-minute match on Saturday as defending title-winners Paris Saint-Germain face off against Premier League side Arsenal in the 2026 UEFA Champions League final.
Two historical accomplishments from opposite ends of the spectrum are on the line today in this match.
PSG are aiming to become the first team since Real Madrid's three-peat in 2016-2018 to defend their European title, while Arsenal are considered the biggest club never to lift a Champions League trophy.
It all comes down to the biggest club match of the calendar year, played this year in Budapest, Hungary on the field named for football legend Ferenc Puskas.
The Sporting News is following the PSG vs. Arsenal match live, providing score updates, commentary, and analysis.

PSG vs. Arsenal live updates, highlights from Champions League final
2 hours to kickoff: Arsenal are looking to make history today. While the London giants are one of England's most accomplished sides domestically, they are woefully under-served on the European stage, largely considered the biggest and most notable club to have never won a UEFA club title.
The Gunners have reached the Champions League final just once before, when Thierry Henry's side lost to Barcelona in 2006. They could erase that dark spot in club history today with a famous win.

PSG vs. Arsenal team news
The biggest question for PSG coming into this match is the health of Achraf Hakimi, who suffered a hamstring injury in the first leg of their Champions League semifinal against Bayern Munich. According to reports, Hakimi trained leading in the run-up to today's match and will be fit to participate. Nuno Mendes also had a fitness concern, but he is likely set to go too, as well as Ousmane Dembele. PSG appear to be at full strength.

The fitness of Kai Havertz is the biggest question for Arsenal coming into today. If he's good to go, he likely starts at the No. 9 ahead of Viktor Gyokeres, but could be a bench option if he's simply not ready for 60 or 90 minutes of action. Otherwise, the only question for Mikel Arteta is whether to deploy Mikel Merino who has made his way back from a broken foot just in time for the Champions League final.
