The 24-year-old PSG star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has shared his thoughts on the Champions League as his team prepares to face Arsenal in the 1st leg of the semifinals at Emirates Stadium on April 29.

Georgian International who has scored two goals in six appearances in the Champions League this season said, "It's probably the biggest football tournament in my opinion,"

"It's every footballer's dream to play in it. And everyone wants to win it, but it's incredibly difficult. Reaching this stage is difficult for any team.", he added.

This is the French team's fifth semifinal appearance. Their best finish was in the 2020 final, where they lost to Bayern Munich 1-0 at Estádio da Luz in Lisbon. Kingsley Coman scored the winning goal.

They reached the semifinals after a 5-4 aggregate win over Aston Villa. Meanwhile, Arsenal beat Real Madrid 5-1 on aggregate.

"The name says it all: the Champions League. It's a tournament for champions, and every club has the ability and the skills to win it," Kvaratskhelia stated.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia shares his thought on winter transfer adjustment

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia  who signed a deal with PSG in January has opened up about adjusting to life in the French capital following (reportedly €70 million (£59 million) mid-season transfer from Napoli.

The Georgian winger, who signed with PSG until 2029 after surprisingly requesting to leave the Italian club, believes he's integrating well with the team despite of a winter move challenge.

"I think the hardest thing is that a winter transfer can also be complicated for the coach, because you join the team in the middle of the season," Kvaratskhelia said.

The 24-year-old credits his smooth transition to support from all levels of the club. "The adjustment period is short, but I think I've settled in pretty well, thanks to the President, the staff, the coaches, the club and, of course, the players, who have given me a warm welcome."
