After a roller coater postseason journey, the Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays are the last two teams still standing. Only one can take home this year's World Series trophy, and a great way for fans to get in on the action is on ProphetX with prediction markets.

Jacob Misiorowski and Drew Rasmussen will likely be the two starting pitchers for Game 1, which should give MLB fans a tight, low-scoring game. Both teams' bullpens have been phenomenal throughout the playoffs as well, and it'll be interesting to see if that holds up. Milwaukee's bats have been on fire as of late, but Tampa's dugout hasn't been cold either.

Tampa Bay didn't look as convincing as they did when they dominated the New York Yankees in the ALDS, but they showed up when it mattered most. Yandy Diaz and Junior Caminero had the most hits among players in the ALCS, and the risk they pose at the plate is one to be reckoned with.

It's never too late in the sports calendar to start using ProphetX. New users can get started with the TSN promo code for a $75 prediction bonus. The Sporting News has everything you need to know about how to get $75 worth of prediction bonuses for World Series Game 1 on ProphetX.

Brewers vs. Rays World Series Game 1 value plays

At the time of writing, the starting pitching matchup is unknown for Game 1. Assuming it's Jacob Misiorowski versus Drew Rasmussen, the Brewers have an edge. The Brewers' young ace hasn't been pitching late into games, but his brief period of firepower generally keeps his team above water to begin the game. Additionally, Milwaukee's bats have been more consistent throughout this postseason. They've gone 7-1 during the postseason, and playing in front of their home crowd for Game 1 is an added bonus.

This matchup should predominantly be a pitcher's duel if it is Misiorowski vs. Rasmussen, along with each team's talented bullpen. Both of these arms haven't allowed more than two earned runs in any of their postseason starts. That being said, Milwaukee's offense put up six or more runs during their last three games, but Tampa is in a much better spot than the Dodgers were. This game is leaning towards the under.

Contreras hit this line in two out of the four games against the Dodgers in the NLCS, and his .367 postseason batting average trails only teammate David Hamilton (.455). According to StatMuse, Contreras has gone 2-for-5 with a home run, RBI, and a walk against Rasmussen in six plate appearances. Milwaukee's catcher has recent form and past history against the Rays' arm going his way, so this could make for a great prediction.

To hit this line, Misiorowski needs to get through 5.2 IP. He hasn't hit that line in over a month (Sept. 8), and Milwaukee's opted to put their trust in their bullpen to carry the brunt of the work. Pat Murphy's approach worked flawlessly in the NLCS, and there's no reason to change something that clearly isn't broken. Take the 24-year-old Cy Young favorite to not reach 17 or more outs.
