The Prep & Landing story continues this holiday season, picking up with a brand-new animated special about elite elf duo Wayne and Lanny in Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol, and Billboard Family is exclusively premiering the tinsel-topped trailer below.

The fourth special in the Emmy-winning franchise — and the first in more than a decade — premieres Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 27) on Disney Channel, followed by its Disney+ debut the next day. (It will also air Nov. 30 on ABC and Dec. 13 as part of Freeform’s “25 Days of Christmas.”)

In the trailer, we see Wayne and Lanny on their biggest mission yet: to save Christmas. “O’er the fields we go … screaming all the way!” the duo wail as they’re dragged by a runaway sleigh.

Dave Foley and Derek Richardson return as the voices of Wayne and Lanny, respectively, while Sarah Chalke is back as North Pole Christmas Eve Command Center Coordinator Magee — who remains just as frustrated with the elfin duo (“Anything happens, I’ll snap you like a candy cane!” she tells them in the trailer). Magee is also the subject of an official single called “Where Would Be Without Magee,” set to be released to all digital platforms a week before the special, on Nov. 21.

Joining the cast for The Snowball Protocol are Manny Jacinto as Renato, Dulcé Sloan as Janice, Danny Pudi as Chef Geoff and Christopher Swindle as The Big Guy, a.k.a. Santa.

If you need to catch up on the franchise, the first three specials in the series — Prep & Landing (2009), Prep & Landing: Operation: Secret Santa (2010) and Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice (2011) — are all streaming on Disney+ now.

Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers-Skelton return as executive producers for The Snowball Protocol, and Colleen Evanson is co-producer and story editor. Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol is produced by Disney Television Animation, part of Disney Branded Television.
