"Pray for me" - 2-time WWE champion makes plea on social media

This week's WWE SmackDown will feature multiple marquee superstars, including former Women's United States Champion Chelsea Green.

Green will be in action against the reigning Women's United States Champion, Giulia, in a title match. On December 14th, Green became the inaugural Women's United States Champion by defeating Michin. This marked her first singles title win in the company. The reigning champion, Giulia, won the title by defeating Zelina Vega on the June 27th episode of SmackDown.

Ahead of her match with Giulia on SmackDown, Green asked the WWE Universe to pray for her, as she aims to become a two-time Women's US Champion.

"pray for me," wrote Green.

In recent months, Green has appeared on NXT, alongside The Secret Hervice, who aligned with the reigning NXT North American Champion, Ethan Page. On November 2nd at AAA Day of the Dead, Green and Page defeated La Hiedra and Mr. Iguana to win the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championships.

Chelsea Green made a wild statement after this week's WWE NXT

Chelsea Green appeared on this week's edition of NXT. She and Ethan Page celebrated their AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship before Joe Hendry and Thea Hail crashed the party.

Hendry and Hail threw cake at the champions and Alba Fyre. Backstage, an irate Green called out the babyfaces' "disgusting behaviour" and claimed that she had never been "creamed on" like this before. Green said:

“Disgusting! Disgusting behavior! We were disrespected in Monterrey, and we were disrespected tonight! I have never been creamed on like this before. Wait..."

With a win on SmackDown, Green could become a double champion and a two-time Women's US Champion. The 34-year-old superstar is no stranger to being a champion in WWE, having previously held the Women's Tag Team Championships with Sonya Deville and later with Piper Niven.
