The Powerball jackpot skyrocketed to a whopping $1.1 billion after no one claimed the $1 billion prize in Saturday evening’s drawing.

The winning numbers for the 10-figure prize were 1, 28, 31, 57, 58, with 16 as the Powerball.

The highly anticipated drawing was for the seventh-largest prize in the game’s history, right behind the $1.08 billion jackpot won on July 19, 2023, in downtown Los Angeles.

The last Powerball winners were two players in Missouri and Texas, who split the $1.787 billion prize on Sept. 6, the second-largest lottery prize ever.

Not everybody ended the night empty-handed.

Two players from North Carolina and Pennsylvania scored $2 million after matching all five white numbers with the Power Play added to their ticket on Saturday.

An additional five lucky people in California, Florida, Michigan, New Jersey, and Virginia won $1 million for matching all five white numbers.
