Expansion has arrived in the WNBA. This season, the league gets two more teams. Welcome back to the league, Portland.
The Fire are the latest addition to the league, bringing yet another team out west. They originally played from 2000-2002, and fans couldn't be more excited that an original squad is back. With a culture as rich and passionate as Portland, the Fire are in good hands as they take the court at the Moda Center this season.

Portland Fire 2026 schedule
The WNBA regular season kicks off in May, and the Fire will host Chicago for their season-opener. They wrap up the regular season in September against the Valkyries.
Portland will play all its home games at the Moda Center.
