A hugely popular WWE segment was canceled because of something Vince McMahon said, a star has revealed. He believes that it had been said by accident.
Tyler Breeze opens up how the Fashion Files got accidentally canceled from WWE because of something Vince McMahon said
For when the Fashion Files segments were popular, it was the hottest thing on television with every fan waiting on a weekly basis to see what Tyler Breeze and Fandango would do next. The Twin Peaks tribute was easy to see for fans of the show, and even for those who had not seen it, the surreal funny segments with Breeze and Fandango were a hit even when they were not being featured as a tag team that was winning regularly on television.
Unfortunately, Vince McMahon had no understanding of it, and a miscommunication with him led to the segment being canceled on a permanent basis, as per Tyler Breeze.

Speaking to Reel Appreciation, Tyler Breeze spoke about what went wrong with it and how it got canceled.
He said that they were discussing the Fashion Files while booking a WWE SmackDown, and that was one of the only things that McMahon did not book himself. And with a pay-per-view coming up, the former chairman questioned why that was being talked about at the moment.
"I think it was by accident. Everybody was still into it and everything was going well. But, I think what happened was there was a pay-per-view coming up... And they did the meeting and they go through what 'SmackDown's' going to be that night and everything was kind of heading toward the pay-per-view. At that time, Vince [McMahon], he just kind of left Fashion Files alone... 'Fashion Files, yeah, don't even tell me about it because I don't understand it, just do it, whatever.' I think they were going through it like normal and they went, 'Okay, Fashion Files,' and Vince went, 'Why are we doing a Fashion Files? They're not on the pay-per-view.'"Unfortunately, the WWE writers took that to mean that he did not want to see that at all, and it was never brought back, and ended up being accidentally canceled altogether.
"I think when he said that, everybody in the room freaked out and just went, 'Never doing Fashion Files again. He hates them.'"Thus, despite being very popular and well loved by the fans, the segment got canceled and never happened again.
