How many episodes are left in Pluribus season 1?

The first season of Pluribus has nine episodes. With four already aired, and Pluribus season 1 episode 5 coming out next week, there are five more episodes to go. New episodes will arrive every Friday until the finale, but the series will continue into season 2, as it has a two-season straight-to-series order.

A brief recap of Pluribus season 1 episode 4

Pluribus season 1 episode 4, Please, Carol, doubles down on Carol's investigation on finding a way to reverse the virus. After learning that the hive can't lie, she visits Zosia at the hospital and tests the boundaries of the hive's honest world. She steals a truth serum, tries it on herself to test its efficacy, and uses it on Zosia to compel her to tell the truth.

After Zosia refuses to answer if there's any way to reverse the virus, because technically, she can't lie, Carol hopes the truth serum will force Zosia to tell her what she knows about a cure. However, things turn for the worse because before Zosia can tell her anything, she suffers a heart attack, likely as a side effect of the serum.

Meanwhile, in Paraguay, Manousos makes his on-screen debut as the newest character in the show. He's like Carol, who is immune to the virus, but he's living a more isolated life than she is. Based on Zosia's previous comments about the "others," Manousos is the 13th known "other."
