PLANET C: HOME RACE contestant lineup: Ages and everything we know so far

Planet C: Home Race (家園競賽) is the upcoming spin-off of Mnet’s survival program Boys II Planet. It focuses on the C-Group trainees who have been previously eliminated before Boys II Planet’s final debut lineup. The spin-off follows these trainees as they return to the launch pad and begin a new journey toward their dream of debuting as global idols, supported by fans from around the world.

Planet C: Home Race will spotlight 18 contestants from Planet C who have not make it into the final debut lineup, giving them another opportunity to showcase their growth and talent. According to news outlet Edaily, the show introduces a new interactive format where fans, who are called “Planet Makers”, play an essential role in shaping the competition. Using the “Boost Mission” system, they will vote through the Mnet Plus app with “Boost Energy” to decide the contestants’ missions, songs, choreography, killing parts, and more.

Planet C: Home Race will premiere on December 6, 2025. The 4-episode program will air weekly, every Saturday, at 9 pm KST, exclusively on the Mnet Plus app.

The lineup for Planet C: Home Race features 18 contestants from different parts of Asia, of varying ages and experience levels. Zhang Shun Yu and Wong Sik Hei, aged 15 and 16, are the youngest participants, while Yi Chen, 27, and Sun Heng Yu, 24, are among the oldest. The participants also coming from different regions, including China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Malaysia.

Each contestant has previously participated in Boys II Planet and will now return for another chance to debut. They represent a mix of independent trainees and agency-affiliated artists. Some contestants, such as Jia Han Yu and Li Zi Hao, are active members of BOY STORY, and others, including Yi Chen and Zhao Guang Xu, have previously appeared in shows like Youth With You and Project 7.

Planet C: Home Race will unfold across 4 episodes, each structured to highlight the contestants’ progress and development. As per Edaily, the voting system through the Mnet Plus app will allow Planet Makers to determine key aspects of each performance, including mission concepts, choreography, and main parts. This format emphasizes collaboration between fans and contestants through the new Boost Mission, which encourages joint participation rather than direct competition.
