Konnor Griffin built much of his soon-to-dominate-MLB athleticism by playing multiple sports, including football.
The Pittsburgh Pirates' shortstop phenom was actually on ESPN years ago for his work on the gridiron.
Griffin, in a fun video posted by the official MLB social media account, relived a fun moment.
He got to look at an old highlight, featuring himself as a freshman in high school, playing wide receiver, and going up over the top of multiple defensive backs to make a play.
It was part of a segment hosted by the legendary Randy Moss titled, fittingly, "You Got Mossed." It was Griffin doing the Mossing.

Yep, the kid was always destined for greatness.
The Pirates drafted Griffin No. 9 overall in the 2024 MLB Draft out of Jackson Preparatory School in Flowood, Mississippi.
He's already on the verge of the major leagues at just 19 years old, impressing everyone with his Spring Training performances.
Griffin is already 6-foot-4 and 222 pounds, too. He certainly has arrived, and he has a fun multi-sport background to thank for his immense abilities.
