There are only a few throws like this in a generation.
Oneil Cruz delivered one on Friday night at Coors Field.
The Pittsburgh Pirates' superstar, in centerfield, chased after a ball that hit off the centerfield fence.
The batter had already rounded second when Cruz uncorked a missile toward third base.
On the fly, on the money, tag applied, out.
Unreal.

How special is Cruz?
This is only one of three incredible things he did in this game.
In the first inning, he destroyed a grand slam that traveled 451 feet and left the bat at 114.7 miles per hour.

Cruz showed up in trade rumors before the deadline, but this is why you don't trade him.
He has all the tools he possibly could have. And when they show up, there's nothing like the Cruz experience.
The Pirates' future is a big question mark. But with Cruz in it, they'll always have a chance at doing something absolutely amazing.
