The New York Yankees' fanbase has been dreaming on the idea of getting Oneil Cruz.
Maybe not so fast.
The Pittsburgh Pirates don't appear like they'll be trading their star outfielder.
Here's what USA Today's Bob Nightengale wrote on Sunday:
"The Pirates continue to listen to offers for everyone on the team but Paul Skenes and Oneil Cruz."
It sounds like righty pitcher Mitch Keller is the best player the Pirates plan to give up.

Cruz remains part of the core group in Pittsburgh.
Sure, he can frustrate with some inconsistency and some swing-and-miss.
But he's got as much talent as anyone in baseball, with immense power and speed and arm strength.
If the Pirates are going to enter a better era, they'll need Cruz to help lead them there.
