Piper Niven has been out of action for several months after it was revealed that she was struggling with a neck injury.
Niven had turned a corner in her career and had become part of a stable with both Chelsea Green and fellow Scottish WWE star Alba Fyre as The Secret Hervice. The two women were known as Slaygents and had been able to become one of the most entertaining partnerships on-screen ahead of her injury.
Niven has been quiet online for more than a month, but following William Regal's recent update about neck injuries in the wrestling business, she felt the need to defend the former NXT General Manager.
There was a response to the post that seemed to point towards the fact that it could have been something discussed privately, which Piper snapped back at.
"Or perhaps it’s just a great way of getting solid advice to people he doesn’t have a direct line of communication with or see at work to tell them in person." she wrote.Piper defended her former General Manager before the person went on to remove the original post.
When will Piper Niven return to WWE?
It was noted back in September that Piper Niven would be out of action indefinitely following her neck injury, but there has been no real update on her career since. Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre have been pushing forward as a duo, and Green was recently able to recapture the Women's United States Championship.
It will be interesting to see if Niven is one of the names included in the upcoming Royal Rumble after several months on the sidelines or if she is forced to make a decision about her career in the coming weeks, since it's unknown how severe it actually is or if she will be able to return to the ring.
