Freddie Freeman broke the internet with his version of the "worm" dance during the Los Angeles Dodgers' World Series win celebrations during a private gathering at Mookie Betts' residence. The Dodgers infielder explained why the world hadn't seen that side of the former NL MVP.
In a video originally posted on Mookie Betts' TikTok account after their Tuesday celebrations, and reshared on multiple social media accounts since, Freddie Freeman could be seen doing the viral dance that requires the dancer to undulate their body on the floor, replicating a worm-like movement.
On Wednesday, a video posted on the Dodgers' TikTok account saw Freddie Freeman and his wife, Chelsea, give an insight into his dance skills. According to him, the Atlanta Braves organization, which drafted him in the 2007 MLB Draft, didn't want the first baseman to risk a major injury by performing the dance move.

Freddie Freeman sets sights on three-peat with Dodgers
Freddie Freeman made his intentions clear during their World Series parade celebrations at Dodger Stadium on Monday, that the Dodgers are looking to go one better in 2026 by completing a three-peat. He referenced previous speakers, Mookie Betts and President and CEO Stan Kasten, in his message.
“Like Mookie said, ever since I got here, we started winning,” Freeman said. “There is nothing better than hoisting up these trophies for you guys. Just like Stan said, over 4 million of you came to watch us play this year, and we delivered. Job in 2024, done. Job in 2025, done. Job in 2026, starts now.”If the Dodgers complete the win, they will become the first team since the 1998-2000 New York Yankees to complete the three-peat.
