Daniil Medvedev's wife, Daria, recently offered an insight into how the couple is spending the offseason. The family of four has jetted off to the Maldives for a tropical vacation.

On Saturday, Daria uploaded a couple of snapshots from the island. The first snapshot shows their daughter, Alisa, sitting happily on a wooden lounge overlooking the ocean.

Daniil Medvedev and Daria first met as teenagers, and both were into tennis. In 2014, they reconnected through social media. The couple got married on 12 September 2018 in a private ceremony in Moscow.

They welcomed their first daughter, Alisa, on 14 October 2022. Their second daughter, Victoria (Vika), was born in January 2025. Just recently, the couple celebrated Alisa's third birthday.

Daniil Medvedev grateful for Daria's support after peaking in tennis

Almost six years back, Daniil Medvedev entered the finals of the US Open in 2019. He was in a peak form and a lot of that has to do with the longstanding support of his wife Daria, who herself played competitive tennis till she was 18.

"She [Daria] is my biggest support and helps me in all aspects of life," Medvedev told tennisworldusa.org in September 2019. "She was a junior player and did not do too badly. She was in the top 100, maybe even higher, No. 50 or 60. She played till she was 18 and always believed that I could be in the top 10. "As a family, we work together to make me a better player and person. She is helping me to earn more. That’s our main goal. I understand she is most special."

Recently, after winning the Almaty Open in October, Daniil Medvedev thanked his family in his victory speech.

“I want to thank my family. It’s the first time I’ve won a tournament with my two daughters and my wife together, so this one feels really special,” he said.

This was Medvedev's first ATP title in 29 months, and he chose to celebrate it with his family.
