Philadelphia Eagles send gift to Giants RB Cam Skattebo after severe ankle injury

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New York Giants 38-20 in Week 8, just two weeks after the Giants defeated Philadelphia in Week 6. Unfortunately, though, the win didn't come without a severe injury to one of the Giants' brightest rising stars.

Rookie running back Cam Skattebo, along with quarterback Jaxson Dart, have given life and excitement to the Giants and their fans. During the Week 8 matchup, Skattebo suffered a dislocated ankle that required surgery and will end his season. In one of the classier moves of the season, Philadelphia Eagles Chief of Security Big Dom DiSandro visited Skattebo in the hospital, as reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter.

"Eagles chief of security Dom DiSandro visited Giants rookie RB Cam Skattebo while he was in a Philadelphia area hospital for surgery on his dislocated ankle, and brought him some snacks," Schefter reports.

It was a very nice gesture by DiSandro and the Eagles, showing that the NFL is much bigger than divisional rivalries.
