The Philadelphia Eagles are locking up one of their key defenders for the long haul.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Eagles and defensive tackle Jordan Davis have agreed to a three-year, $78 million contract extension that includes $65 million guaranteed.
Rapoport adds that Davis is now the highest-paid nose tackle in NFL history.
"The Eagles and standout DT Jordan Davis have a 3-year extension for $78M ($26M APY) with $65M guaranteed. This makes him the highest paid NT in NFL history," Rapoport reported.
