Pep Guardiola's next job after Man City revealed?

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly been identified as a potential future candidate to take charge at AC Milan.

Current boss Sérgio Conceição is currently in charge of the Rossoneri, and contracted at the San Siro until 2026, but the Portuguese coach has come under growing pressure in recent weeks.

Conceição was appointed by Milan just last December - following the dismissal of former coach Paulo Fonseca - but despite the short turnaround, several reports in Italy are suggesting the Serie A giants are already considering a change again this summer.

AC Milan have been struggling in Serie A this season, standing ninth in the league table with 47 points, with eight more matches remaining on the schedule.

That poor form under Conceição has sparked rumours about the possible dismissal of former winger as part of a fresh start.

Italian outlets Corriere della Sera and La Gazzetta dello Sport are hinting at Roberto De Zerbi being the top choice if Conceição moves on - however, both reports also claim Guardiola is also on the list of candidates.

Will Pep Guardiola become AC Milan's next manager?

As the speculation grows over Guardiola potentially taking charge at Milan this summer, a more realistic option is a move from Manchester in 2026, or possibly 2027.

Gazzetta also claim Guardiola and Milan's incoming potential sporting director, Fabio Paratici, are on good terms and that could set the future wheels in motion.

Guardiola notably signed a contract extension with City in November 2024, ending rumours over his previous deal which ended in June, and his current contract ties him to the Etihad Stadium until June 2027.
