Week 3's mid-afternoon slate of college football action features the final game within a three-week stretch at Beaver Stadium to begin the 2025 season. That game will be contested between No. 2 Penn State and Villanova.
The Nittany Lions have begun the campaign with two dominant victories during which their defense has shined. Penn State defeated Nevada 46-11 in its season opener before recording a shutout in a 34-0 victory over FIU the following week.

Villanova, meanwhile, will be looking to pull a massive upset against a much stronger in-state opponent. The Wildcats played their first game of the new campaign last weekend, winning by a 24-17 score against Colgate.
