When you name the biggest culprits of the Detroit Lions' ugly playoff loss to the Washington Commanders, quarterback Jared Goff is at or near the top of the list.
Of course, you can certainly make the argument that the Lions' defense was easily the biggest issue after giving up 45 points, but Goff certainly didn't help matters in the losing effort.
The veteran signal-caller turned the ball over four times, with one of them being a pick-six. The Commanders also scored touchdowns in the drives after two of his other turnovers, one of which set Washington up with solid field position.
Even Goff wondered if things would've been different had he not turned the ball over as much as he did.
"Had I played better, do we win? Possibly, and that's the part that'll eat me apart for the whole offseason," Goff said, per ESPN's Eric Woodyard.
