Patrick Mahomes is back in action.

The superstar Chiefs quarterback was seen moving around and tossing a pass Wednesday in a new video, three months after suffering a torn ACL in Kansas City’s lost season.

“Day by Day!” the 30-year-old Mahomes captioned the post on his Instagram Story. “Felt Great being able to throw the ball around today!”

Mahomes hasn’t played since Dec. 14, when he went down with the season-ending knee injury in a 16-13 loss to the Chargers that stuck a fork in the Chiefs’ postseason hopes.

“Don’t know why this had to happen. And not going to lie it’s hurts,” Mahomes posted on X in the aftermath of the injury. “But all we can do now is Trust in God and attack every single day over and over again. Thank you Chiefs kingdom for always supporting me and for everyone who has reached out and sent prayers. I Will be back stronger than ever.”

Mahomes underwent surgery to repair his left ACL and LCL in December, as the Chiefs finished the year at a disappointing 6-11.

The Chiefs are looking to rebound in a major way, signing Super Bowl 2026 MVP Kenneth Walker III away from the Seahawks on a three-year deal worth up to $45 million in free agency.

The team is also running it back with longtime tight end Travis Kelce, who mulled retirement in the midst of wedding planning with fiancée Taylor Swift.

Although Mahomes is eager to get back to work with his trusted target, it remains to be seen when the three-time Super Bowl-winning QB will take the field again.

Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reported this month that Mahomes is ahead of schedule in terms of his recovery.

“His pain threshold is different, his work ethic is different,” Glazer said on the “Dan Patrick Show.”

“So at first they were like, ‘Oh, you know, start of the season.’ I would probably hedge on him being [back] sooner than that. By far. Because he just attacks things.”

In the event Mahomes isn’t ready to go for the start of the season, the Chiefs have taken precaution with the addition of Justin Fields following a trade with the Jets.

Mahomes threw 22 touchdowns against 11 interceptions in 14 games for the Chiefs last year.
