The Pittsburgh Steelers have a lot of tight ends.
The most established is Pat Freiermuth.
On Sunday night, though, Freiermuth got hurt.
To start the second half, Freiermuth caught a short pass in the left flat from Aaron Rodgers. Two Packers defenders closed in to try and bring him down.

One helmet smashed directly into Freiermuth's right knee, and he hit the ground hard with his head, too.
Freiermuth stayed down after the play. Trainers came out to attend to him and then walked off with Freiermuth, who had a clear limp.
From a depth chart perspective, the Steelers are as equipped as anyone to withstand the loss of Freiermuth.
They traded this offseason for the explosive Jonnu Smith.
They've got the huge blocker and target Darnell Washington.
And they've got Connor Heyward, the brother of star defensive tackle Cameron Heyward.

Freiermuth got up relatively quickly, which could also be possibly good news.
Until the Steelers announce more, though, it looks like they might be without Freiermuth.
