Palm Royale season 2 release date, cast details, where to watch, episode count, and other updates so far

Created by Abe Sylvia, Palm Royale season 2 will premiere on November 12, 2025, exclusively on Apple TV+. The series is based on the 2018 novel, Mr. & Mrs. American Pie, by Juliet McDaniel. The story revolves around outsider Maxine Dellacorte-Simmons as she attempts to figure out her place in Palm Royale, Palm Beach’s most exclusive country club.

The second season of the show opens with Maxine on the path to rebuilding her reputation after a public breakdown in season 1. She was at the center of a scandal that ruined her social standing within those from Palm Royale’s exclusive social circle after being betrayed by those closest to her.

In Palm Royale season 2, Maxine sets out to reclaim her footing while dealing with the revelation that the high-society world she wants to enter is filled with deceit, secrets, and more than the occasional felony. Like season 1, the second installment is executive-produced by Kristen Wiig and Laura Dern alongside Abe Sylvia, John Norris, and several others.

Both Wiig and Dern also reprise their roles in season 2 as Maxine and Linda Shaw, respectively. They’re joined by Allison Janney, Leslie Bibb, Josh Lucas, Ricky Martin, and several others in an ensemble cast that also includes Kaia Gerber and Mindy Cohn.

As mentioned above, Palm Royale season 2 will be released on November 12, 2025, on Apple TV+, with the first episode available to stream globally on the same day. Following that, the series will follow a weekly release schedule on Wednesdays until the finale on January 14, 2026.

What to expect from Palm Royale season 2?

Set in 1969, the first season focused on Kristen Wiig’s Maxine Dellacorte-Simmons as she attempted to climb the social ranks of Florida’s high-flying elite. That meant attempting to build a social reputation that would eventually make her the belle of the ball of the exclusive Palm Beach country club, the Palm Royale.

However, things didn’t end well for Maxine as her public breakdown sent her tumbling down the social ladder and made her a social pariah. She wasn’t the only one who suffered as Robert learnt that Norma wasn’t a wealthy Dellacort but instead Norma’s former roommate from boarding school, who had assumed her identity after killing her.

To make matters even worse for Maxine, her relationship with Douglas took a turn for the worse after she discovered that he got Mitzi pregnant. It means that in Palm Royale season 2, Maxine will have to use all her intelligence and willpower to battle her way back to the top of the social ladder while facing her fair obstacles.

The synopsis for season 2 reads:

“She’ll have to draw on her deep well of cleverness and cunning to prove, once and for all, that not only does she belong, but she just might have what it takes to rule this town. Along the way she will uncover untold truths and finally understand what this town is truly built on… secrets, lies, and the occasional felony.”
