However, the rookie star has dealt with some injuries over the past few months. First, she was put in concussion protocol which forced her to miss a handful of games. Now, Bueckers is dealing with a right knee issue that is serious enough for her to miss some time.

Paige Bueckers injury update
The Wings announced that Bueckers will miss Saturday night's game against the Mystics with a right knee injury. It is unclear exactly when Bueckers suffered the injury, but the guard had been playing the past few games with her knee heavily taped.

Bueckers suited up Friday night in Dallas' loss against the Fever, scoring 27 points and dishing out six assists. In fact, she's played in four total games in the past week. Saturday night marks the Wings' first back-to-back of the season, though, and after the game Dallas will be off until Thursday, giving Bueckers a full week to recover before returning to action.
The Wings have several key players currently dealing with injuries, including Dijonai Carrington and Maddie Siegrist, meaning three of the team's four leading scorers will miss the game against Washington.
