Harry Douglas sparks fresh Paige Bueckers and Caitlin Clark debate

Harry Douglas believes Paige Bueckers has already delivered the impact many expected from Caitlin Clark. Speaking on ESPN Radio, Douglas praised Bueckers after Dallas defeated the New York Liberty, where she finished with 15 points while helping extend the Wings' strong campaign.

Douglas highlighted Dallas' impressive turnaround as the main reason for his view. He pointed out that the Wings had the league's worst record two seasons ago but improved after adding top draft picks. According to him, the team’s confidence has changed completely, helping Dallas achieve the fourth-best record in the WNBA.

Douglas then made his strongest comparison between the league's two young stars. "Everything we expected Caitlin Clark to be, Paige Bueckers has been in the WNBA," he said on ESPN Radio. The former NFL receiver credited Bueckers for elevating the play of Arike Ogunbowale, Azzi Fudd, and the rest of the Wings' roster.
