The Green Bay Packers appear to be making as many moves as possible this summer. They've already moved on from Jaire Alexander, and several other defensive players could potentially be traded. On top of that, the Packers are still actively looking to add talent to the roster.
The wide receiver room might be the most controversial position group on the team, simply because it's packed with talent. Green Bay is now in a position where they may have to choose one receiver over another. This comes in light of rookie first-round pick Matthew Golden lighting up the field and building a strong connection with fans.
“Starting to realize Green Bay not too big, so a lot of people gonna recognize me. But it’s a blessing just to be able to be around people that care about you … for me it’s just being able to show my face and show that I love being here,” Golden said.
Even teammate Romeo Doubs has nothing but praise for the rookie.
“Oh, man. Kid's a stud," Doubs said. "Doesn't say much, but he just comes in and works. He's been real consistent in that area... kid is playing fast right now, so I'm excited to see it.”
However, those comments may be part of the reason why Doubs could become the odd man out if Green Bay decides to make a trade. Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox believes the Packers could move Doubs to the Steelers.

“The Steelers would be an obvious landing spot for the Nevada product if he is on the move. They need receiver depth, and Rodgers has experience playing with him. Doubs' rookie season coincided with the veteran's last campaign as a Packer,” Knox wrote.
Doubs didn’t have the season he hoped for last year, but a change of scenery could help him return to form. And he’d be doing it alongside a very familiar face—at least for this season. When Doubs is at his best, he’s an incredible asset to have.
