The Green Bay Packers' reliable wide receiver Romeo Doubs is heading for free agency.
He's got a chance to have a Green Bay reunion even if he signs elsewhere.
That, as you might have guessed, would be with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who could use a reliable WR2 to pair with DK Metcalf.
The Steelers hired Mike McCarthy as their new head coach this offseason, and they could bring Aaron Rodgers for another season as their starting QB.

Doubs did play with Rodgers at the end of his Packers tenure, too.
Pro Football Focus writer Bradley Locker has made that link in a new article this week, suggesting that Doubs is an ideal fit for Pittsburgh.
"With the Steelers hiring Mike McCarthy, the team will likely invest more in its offense as it attempts to better a unit that placed 20th in EPA per play," Locker writes. "Finding a running mate for D.K. Metcalf would go a long way in doing so. Doubs has been a solid option over the last three seasons with a 78.6 PFF receiving grade. Since 2024, he also sits in the 75th percentile in receiving grade vs. single coverage. The 25-year-old former Packer could reunite with Aaron Rodgers (if he returns) and should have little trouble learning McCarthy’s terminology."

Doubs is a player whose overall counting stats don't necessarily show his ability.
Green Bay hasn't been a super pass-happy offense in recent seasons, and they also have such a deep group of WRs that they can spread the football out more than some other teams.
Doubs would likely show himself to be a great player if he ends up with a solid QB in Pittsburgh, which would still require the Steelers to get that position right, too. But it's very much a possibility.
