Packers' Jordan Love reveals 'lowest point' of joint practice with Cardinals

The Green Bay Packers completed a joint practice with the Arizona Cardinals on Wednesday and quarterback Jordan Love highlighted one part of the session in particular that was the lowest point for Green Bay.

After Green Bay's offense started off practice hot, Love and the Packers failed to convert from the five-yard line to complete a series later on in in the session.

The drive ended with a dropped pass by wide receiver Matthew Golden and a sack on back-to-back plays.

Love admitted he wasn't thrilled with the way the Packers finished overall.

"I think that was the kind of lowest point of the day was just (the) finish," Love said, according to Wes Hodkiewicz of Packers.com.

"And I think in training camp, the joint practices, I think it gets a little chippy, things happen, emotions start running a little higher," he added. So, we got to find ways to be able to just dial back in, focus back in and be able to finish a practice."

One of the heated moments in practice came when tight end Tucker Kraft and Cardinals safety Andrew Wingard had some words.

The exchange occurred after the two ran into each other in the end zone.

Kraft later took a late hit from a Cardinals defender that drew a flag, but he took it all in stride.

"I was smiling. That was a good hit," Kraft said. "I haven't had a hit like that since Nov. 2 (vs. the Panthers). That was an opportunity for me right there to wake up, season's here."

In what is great news for Kraft, who is coming back from a torn ACL, he admitted he no longer thinks about his knee and is now playing "free out there."

With the Packers' joint practice with the Cardinals now in the books, Green Bay will turn its attention to the preseason finale against Arizona on Friday night.
