Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton makes LeBron James announcement ahead of Knicks series

The Indiana Pacers will take on the New York Knicks on Wednesday night in the first game of the Eastern Conference Finals. 

The Pacers, who have been playing great basketball, won't have an easy task ahead of them with a talented Knicks team coming off a series win against the elite Boston Celtics.

However, with how Indiana has played in the early stages of the playoffs, it’s fair to suggest that the Pacers could win this series. 

Searching for the first NBA championship in their franchise's history, the Pacers understand what's at stake here. 

If they are to win, it'll likely come down to what Tyrese Haliburton can do for them on both ends.

Haliburton, rated the most overrated player in the NBA by a player survey from The Athletic, has taken some heat in recent years.

However, despite that survey, superstars around the league have shown support and love for the youngster. That includes LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers.

“I want to play the right way and I want to win, that’s the most important thing to me. LeBron said people would want to play with me, yeah, if we’re winning, I’m sure people would love to play alongside me… Yeah, the Bron thing was super, super cool. We texted back and forth last night. I’ve grown a lot of cool relationships from that Olympic experience and it’s been really cool,” he shared, per Lakers Nation.

Haliburton and James shared the court together during the Olympics last year, winning a Gold Medal. It seems like they formed a great relationship during the event.

If the Lakers star knows anything, it's how to win at the highest level and quiet the doubters. It won't be easy for Haliburton to get the job done, but with the playing field left, the Pacers have a chance.
