Pop culture podcaster Perez Hilton mourned the death of 25-year-old social media influencer Ben Bader in a recent blog post. Bader, a financial and lifestyle influencer, died on October 23. His girlfriend, Reem, broke the news on social media and paid a heartfelt tribute to him in her TikTok post. Bader's family also broke the silence and shared a statement with People on Monday.
Perez Hilton discussed the family's tribute in his Tuesday blog. The podcaster shared the statement released by Ben Bader's family and wrote:

Hilton noted that the influencer's family remembered him as a "visionary who led with love" and someone who "lived with intention." The family added that Bader "turned his passions into helping others." The statement further read:
"He made a profound impact on everyone who knew him through his wisdom, humor, and compassion. Ben lived each day to the fullest, inspiring those around him to seek meaning, connection, and purpose in their own lives. His light will continue to shine through the countless people he touched."According to People, Ben Bader offered a "financial coaching course" and ran a financial tips email newsletter. In the tribute statement, Bader's family referred to him as "a gifted writer and impactful social media influencer."
"[He was] dedicated to helping creators, coaches, and entrepreneurs turn their passions into thriving online businesses. Through his programs, he empowered clients to find their purpose, share their message, and achieve meaningful success," the statement read.The mourning family further stated that they would carry on Ben's legacy. The podcaster mentioned that the family also expressed their gratitude for the "outpouring of love and support" from Ben Bader's community and his close ones.
Perez Hilton highlighted that the cause of Bader's sudden death remained unknown. However, he added that there were some "rumors" online about the possibility of an "incident with an in-home sauna."
Perez Hilton shared Ben Bader's girlfriend's reaction to the influencer's death
In his previous blog, Perez Hilton covered Ben Bader's girlfriend's TikTok post in which she announced the demise of the Miami-based influencer. The blogger quoted Reem from her October 26 post in which she said:
"Ben was the kindest, most caring, most generous person I have ever met in my entire life. He genuinely loved every single person that he met, and he was so positive all the time."Further in the video, Reem said that no one knew what had happened, and Bader's death seemed "extremely sudden." She added that there had been "no signs" that anything was wrong, and they were supposed to go out for dinner on the night of the influencer's passing.
“We were supposed to get dinner that night and he seemed so normal. I had just talked to him on FaceTime a couple hours before he passed and he was so happy and so normal and he was just smiling and being so funny," Bader's girlfriend stated.Perez Hilton called Ben Bader's death a "rug-pull for the poor fam." The blogger also noted that Reem shared an Instagram story where she expressed her pain. He quoted her story, which read:
“I kept waiting for them to say he’s awake. I kept waiting for this to be a bad dream. My worst fear came to life. I got the worst phone call of my life.”According to People, Ben Bader had over 200K followers across TikTok, X, and Instagram. Bader also posted a video on TikTok on the day he died.
