Hollywood’s biggest names gathered at the Beverly Hilton for the 98th Academy Awards Luncheon Tuesday — turning the legendary hotel into a hub of anticipation for the Oscars next month.
Some of the industry’s elite players like Kate Hudson, Emma Stone, Leonardo DiCaprio and Timothée Chalamet all showed face at the event. First-time nominees including Michael B. Jordan, Teyana Taylor and Jacob Elordi also posed for the cameras.
Hudson earned a Best Actress nomination for her role in “Song Sung Blue,” it marks her first nomination in 25 years. Emma Stone became the youngest woman to reach seven career nominations for her Best Actress nomination for her role in “Bugonia.”
DiCaprio’s movie “One Battle After Another” holds 13 nominations, and Chalamet attended to represent his table-tennis biopic “Marty Supreme.”
Teyana Taylor, nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Perfidia Beverly Hills in “One Battle After Another” made a dramatic entrance in a sweeping black gown. Taylor took home the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for the film in January.
Jacob Elordi, nominated for his haunting portrayal of The Creature in Guillermo del Toro’s “Frankenstein,” worked the camera with his easy smile while rocking a casual suit and tie.
Michael B. Jordan is nominated for Best Actor for his dual performance as twins Smoke and Stack in “Sinners.”
“Sinners,” directed by Ryan Coogler, shattered Academy records this year with a staggering 16 nominations. It faces stiff competition from Paul Thomas Anderson’s “One Battle After Another,” and family drama “Sentimental Value.”
The 98th Oscars will air live from the Dolby Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard on March 15, 2026.
