Stars are getting ready for a golden evening.
Indeed, Danielle Brooks and Lewis Pullman unveiled the 2026 Oscar nominees on Jan. 22 at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles, Calif.
It's been a winning award season for Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another—and may just take home more gold at the March 15 ceremony. The film is expected to be among the most nominated at the 98th Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Leonardo DiCaprio's Best Actor in a Leading Role and Teyana Taylor's Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
Sinners is also ready to sink its teeth into the competition, as the Ryan Coogler-directed film is expected to be nominated in Best Picture, Michael B. Jordan in the Best Actor in a Leading Role category, as well as Best Directing.
Meanwhile, Marty Supreme may be turning in table tennis paddles for some sparkling trophies. Like this award season, the film may find itself competing for Best Picture and Original Screenplay. And Timothée Chalamet is also ready to go head-to-head in the Best Actor category for his role.
For Timothée, bringing Marty Mauser to life had proven to be a golden decision. After all, the 30-year-old's latest nomination follows his win for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy at the 2026 Golden Globes and Best Actor at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards earlier this year.

Although Timothée took a moment to spotlight his girlfriend Kylie Jenner during his acceptance speech, he also praised director Josh Safdie's for taking a chance on the sports dramedy.
"You made a story about a flawed man with a relatable dream, and you didn't preach to the audience about what's right and wrong," the 30-year-old explained on stage. "We should all be telling stories like that. So, thank you for this dream."
