Dillon Gabriel's legendary college career took stops at UCF, Oklahoma and Oregon before he headed to the NFL.
Following his conclusion with the Ducks, he was a third-round pick by the Cleveland Browns, No. 94 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft.
It took only a few games before the Browns turned to Gabriel as their new starting quarterback.
And now, Gabriel has a wild stat in common with Tom Brady.
The statistic came from the NFL on CBS social media accounts, and it's this:
The two-most recent quarterbacks to have at least 100 pass attempts in their first three NFL starts, and to throw exactly two passing touchdowns and no interceptions in that time span, are Tom Brady and Dillon Gabriel.

It's quite the quirky, fluky statistic in a lot of ways, but it aligns Gabriel with the seven-time Super Bowl champion who is widely regarded as the greatest player in NFL history.
A lot of rookies won't attempt 100 passes across their first three starts. Teams look to limit their exposure by running the ball.
Throwing no interceptions is a great trait, one that Brady maintained a lot throughout his career, one that would serve Gabriel well after he was a very efficient QB in college.
When you add in throwing exactly two total touchdowns across three weeks, it gets very hard for anyone else to join this group.
Does it mean anything significant? Maybe not, although the zero interceptions on more than 100 attempts is really solid for Gabriel.
It's never bad to be in Brady's company, though.
