ONE Friday Fights 137: Liu Mengyang stuns Tawanchai in 52 seconds, Mohammad Siasarani and Yod-IQ claim US$100,000 contracts

ONE Friday Fights 137 wrapped up a magical 2025 for the world's largest martial arts organization on Dec. 19.

The 12-fight lineup delivered several sterling displays across kickboxing and Muay Thai action, live in Asia primetime, from Bangkok's legendary Lumpinee Stadium.

In the main event, Chinese standout 'Spirit Dragon' Liu Mengyang produced what could be the upset of the year.

The 22-year-old, who fights out of Shunyuan Fight Club, took out Tawanchai PK Saenchai via a devastating leg kick shot at the 52-second mark of their featherweight kickboxing tiff.

With wins over Shadow Singha Mawynn, Masaaki Noiri, and now, one over the promotion's longtime featherweight Muay Thai king, the young gun may have just entered the world title picture against divisional king Superbon.

Before the ONE Friday Fights 137 main event got underway, Thai slugger PTT Apichart Farm and the legendary Sam-A Gaiyanghadao did what they do best inside the ring.

Both strikers dished out a striking clinic to decisively outpoint 'Left Meteorite' Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai and Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi, respectively.

In addition, ONE Friday Fights 137 saw two in-form warriors punch their ticket to the main roster of ONE Championship.

Mohammad Siasarani wrapped proceedings in Round 2 against former ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title challenger 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut with his stinging right hand.

Like Siasarani, Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri earned the coveted US$100,000 contract inside the Mecca of Muay Thai with a highlight-reel finish of his own.

The Thai destroyer avenged his September 2023 defeat to Alexey Balyko – his lone loss across 12 fights under the ONE Friday Fights banner – by putting the Russian to sleep with a vicious head kick.
