Elbek Alyshov has been a nightmare that Filipino fighters can't seem to shake.

The undefeated punisher from Azerbaijan and Russia added another victim to his growing hit list at ONE Fight Night 37: Kryklia vs. Agdeve on Prime Video on Nov. 7 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

This time, it was Carlo Bumina-ang who felt crushing top pressure and overall helplessness that comes from fighting this enigma.

'The Bull' watched as Alyshov demolished ranked Filipino contender Jeremy 'The Juggernaut' Pacatiw last August. Bumina-ang knew what he was up against, yet he had had zero chances of preventing the inevitable.

The undefeated fighter imposed his will right away. Shoot, body lock, takedown. It was a thing of beauty, and the Team Lakay star was already on his back before he could react.

Alyshov softened him up with some ground and pound and fearlessly jumped in for a guillotine attempt, showcasing his perfect blend of high-level wrestling and jiu-jitsu.

Bumina-ang escaped, but it proved to be a foreshadowing of things to come. The resilient Filipino got back up and got himself going with some punishing, dirty boxing from the clinch.

Despite Bumina-ang finding some success as Round 1 came to a close, Alyshov remained composed. He still dictated the pace, and it felt like Filipino was on borrowed time.

After weathering Bumina-ang's best shots, Alyshov turned the jets in Round 2 and drowned the Filipino in deep waters.

The elite grappler shot a textbook single-leg that looked like it came out of a wrestling manual.

'The Bull' sprawled and did all the right things to defend, yet he got yanked to the ground like a rag doll after Alyshov whipped his leg. Once in his world, the Azerbaijani-Russian did not relent, putting on suffocating top pressure to slowly take the fight out of Bumina-ang.

The Baguio native proved tough and kept getting back up, but once again left his neck open for the taking. Alyshov swooped in for another guillotine attempt, this time closing his half guard to block all of Bumina-ang's points of escape.

The Filipino turned purple from the punishing squeeze and reached his limit, tapping out in submission.

After proving his ONE debut was not a fluke, the now 10-0 Alyshov showed he might just be the next big thing at 145 pounds.
