Line them up, and he will beat them down. Former K-1 champion Yuki Yoza left another lasting impression in his bantamweight kickboxing showdown against 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE 173 this Sunday, November 16.
The Team Vasileus superstar dished out a striking masterclass to overcome the ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion throughout their three-round scrap in Tokyo, Japan.
Just as he had planned, Yoza kicked off the contest by targeting the Thai's legs. The Japanese fighter loaded it up with the single intention of slowing down his opposite number.
He alternated between inside and outside kicks. Some even connected on the thigh. It wasn't just one-way traffic, however.

Superlek reminded the hometown hero that he wasn't the only master of kicks inside the Circle at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri. The Kiatmoo9 Gym threw in similar shots, but none truly hurt the game Tokyo-based fighter.
Yoza gave 'The Kicking Machine' little room to explore any potential combinations when action resumed in round two. On top of his chopping kicks that landed constantly, he swarmed the ONE world champion with punches in bunches.
This forced Superlek to work with more urgency. But while he went all in to deliver a trademark display, the Team Vasileus megastar shifted up a gear, too.
Yuki Yoza avoided the Thai’s trademark weapons while retaliating with his teasing kicks and that occasional fist that landed on the chin.
The striking specialists were eager to get the action going in the third round as referee Olivier Coste resumed action in the final canto.
Yoza went full throttle in search of a sensational triumph. ‘The Kicking Machine’ worked on Yoza’s ribs with knees and kept his output going with punches in bunches.
Both men absorbed damage. Both went hell and back. But ultimately, Yoza and Superlek’s defense survived to see the judges’ scorecards.
Official result: Yuki Yoza defeats Superlek Kiatmoo9 via unanimous decision
With his win at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri, Yuki Yoza improved to 21-2 and extended his winning streak to 13 fights.
The Japanese star has now made it a trio of victories on the global stage. After debuting in style against previously undefeated Elbrus Osmanov, the 27-year-old took out former bantamweight kickboxing world champion Petchtanong Petchfergus with another brilliant all-around performance.
His win over Superlek in Tokyo may be his best one yet, though. Yuki Yoza barely put a foot wrong and found multiple ways to have a crack at the pound-for-pound great.
With a performance like that, the Team Vasileus man may have just positioned himself for a shot at ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Haggerty.
