One of the fastest races in all of sports, luge events return to the Olympics, where it has been part of the Winter Games since 1964.
Considered one of the oldest winter sports, with origins dating back to the 16th century, luge features athletes racing down an ice track at more than 90 miles an hour. It showcases top-tier reflexes and gets the adrenaline pumping for athletes and spectators alike.
Competition features men's and women's singles and doubles events. Now, there are team relay events, while women's doubles will make its debut.
